Bio:Cute is What We Aim For began in 2005 in Buffalo, New York with members Shaant Hacikyan (vocals), Jeff Czum (guitar), Tom Falcone (drums), and Dave Melillo (bass). In 2006, after posting their music online, they caught the eye of Fueled by Ramen, who, after a month, signed the band (though CiWWAF almost missed the mark). The entire starting time, from birth of band to signing, took only 6 months. Their first single was "There's A Class For This" which they promoted all through their first tour. The band's second album Rotation, CIWWAF came back with a whole new sound and have matured greatly.
